I love that on my 14th year of celebrating the 100th Day of School, we tried something new! I have a new favorite and will forever have a teddy bear picnic on the 100th day! 👏🏼
Throughout January, we studied polar bears, brown bears, and hibernation, so wrapping it all up with Jan Brett books on the 100th day was the perfect closing to our winter units. ❤️
Here’s what we did: 🐻
-students brought favorite stuffed animals to snuggle at carpet time and to sit on their desks to watch them work during class time
-bear hats for morning work...BEARY Excited for the 100th Day! (Link to TPT store in bio)
-made a snack mix that included Teddy Grahams
-ate our special teddy bear snack mix in our teddy bear cave as we read and compared @janbrettauthor ‘s 3 Bears books

Oh so simple, but an oh so sweet day!! One little nugget even hugged her bag of teddy bear mix, saying it was “the best day ever!” Mission accomplished. 😍
